Rebellion
Rebellion slips you into dark places! I had an instruction from the Lord to work six hours from day one of going back to work. There was a constant fight to obey this instruction due to the pressure of management. God was my defense! This manager resigned and God promoted me. I asked the Lord can I work more hours due to the change in position and responsibilities. He did not answer me. In time I moved from the light walking in obedience into darkness walking in disobedience. This dark place of disobedience influenced me to justify rebellion. I said I have more responsibilities with this promotion and in the dark I was. For a time God was silent in this matter and in the dark, I said he must allowed me to work more. He allowed it but never instructed it.
In time past I knew if God did not say, to stand still. I began working longer and longer. One day I got off work and started feeling so much pain in my body. SIN! I began to pray the word of God. Which I know is so powerful! I have witnessed the power in my life for many needs. Healing, comfort, protection, provision, peace, joy, strength, forgiveness and forgiving others, my defense, my counsellor, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, interpretations, favour, victory, freedom, opened and closed doors, and revelations. I can go on listing the many blessings I have had by speaking the word of God over myself and any situations. I spoke the word to be relieved from the pain. Some pain I had never experienced but nothing was changing. I was moved by the Holy Ghost to ask was I disobeying him by working more hours. Why this question of all questions? He said six hours!
The lesson: On June 7, 2025 the Lord said message, rebellion, and rebellion slips you into dark places. At the time I was in the dark and did not think this word was for me. He said message because it would be a message to help others come out of darkness. The circumstances do not change God. God changes circumstances. His instruction never changed, but because he did not answer I slipped in this dark place of rebellion where I could not see the truth. There were consequences to my rebellion. My sin corrected me just as the Word saith. I repented! Wisdom: Obey God! Rebellion is very dangerous. The truth and grace of God shined the light in this dark place of rebellion by moving me to ask the question was I disobeying him by working more hours. You see in the dark I justified rebellion by thinking because the promotion came with more responsibilities I could work more hours. GOD NEVER SAID THIS! Neither did He slip these dark thoughts in my mind. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. DECEPTION! I thank God for his son Jesus Christ. The light of the world! He shinned in the dark to expose the dark. This is my testimony to you. My heart now burns with fire to obey God at whatever cost. Wisdom: Follow the light and you shall not walk in darkness!
